I will be waiting bovril (or alternative beef drink) in hand, not with standing coming back from the 'local' in time you can count me in... Looking forward to chatting away with all Imp fans incl Torquay and Co. with the Lord of the Imps taking us into the new season... |

I hope you've all had a great summer and are looking forward to what we hope will be a promotion-winning season for the Imps. I'm here at the Don Valley Stadium in Sheffield for the Millers against Imps. Feel free to pop me a question or comment throughout the afternoon. I'll be back in a mo with the teams. |

He's replaced by Lee Beevers in the heart of the defence. Gary King is preferred to Dany N'Guessan on the wing and there's no place for Lee Frecklington. Imps: Burch, Green, Beevers, Kovacs, Brown, John-Lewis, Oakes, Kerr, King, Gall, Wright. Subs: N'Guessan, Duffy, Hone, Graham, Frecklington. What do you make of that? |

But after all their financial problems, which has seen them docked 17 points, Rotherham will be playing here this season. Our view is ok, we're halfway inside one half, but a mile away from the pitch. I wish I'd bought some binoculars with me! It's also raining and feels more like November. But we're not going to get that dampen our spirits. I want to hear your predictions for the game. I'm going for a 1-0 win for the Imps. |

Wasn't he the guy hailed the 'Scottish Michael Owen' during his Celtic days? Another new signing, ex-Grimsby man Nick Fenton, is on the bench along with ex-Imp Peter Holmes. Warrington, Lynch, Green, Rhodes, Joseph, Reid, Mills, Sharps, Taylor, Harrison, Hudson. Subs: Cann, Cummin, Fenton, Holmes, Tonge. |

Really excited about the prospects for this season. Just hope Jacko has kept their feet on the ground for today - there's a job to be done & I'd hate for the lads to be too confident with all the hype there's been. Bring it on - come on you Imps Steve, Perth, WA |

I'm a fan of Kevin Gall, so I'm tipping him to do ok. Hopefully Oakes can find enough space and time to weave his magic. As for Burchill, you're right, he was the Scottish Michael Owen... briefly.... |

I've had a good summer away from football, but I'm well up for it now. Very optimistic about the season ahead and I reckon Jacko will guard against over confidence. |

I've enjoyed the off-season by watching plenty of cricket and enjoying some time off. Me, Leigh and the rest of the office would like to know if you've got any more Bovril? |
