Good evening everyone

I'm online a bit early tonight because I've just been handed a teamsheet and it's as you were for the Imps.

City (4-3-3): Burch, Green, Kovacs, Hone, Beevers, Oakes, Frecklington, Kerr, N'Guessan, John-Lewis, Brown. Subs: Sinclair, Duffy, Wright, Graham, Clarke.

Evening Mark,

Hope you had a good trip down?

Well at least we can all say PJ is consiistant with his teams. Although, I did think that he may have started with Graham tonight.

Good evening Salford

The trip was long - four hours in fact. Although most of that time was spent trying to get in the car park which is about the size of a penalty box.
In the end we sneaked in the VIP section. Hopefully we won't get clamped!

As for the team, I suspected Graham might start, but he can't be too far away. Jacko has tried virtually everyone else up front.

However, I do expect John-Lewis to start through the middle rather than N'Guessan, as on Saturday against Shrewsbury.

Aldershot skipper and central defender Rhys Day is ruled out through injury. Former Imps striker Junior Mendes is on the bench.

Shots (4-4-2): Bull, Blackburn, Newman, Charles, Streker, Soares, Davies, Harding, Sandell, Morgan, Grant. Subs: Chalmers, Elvins, Donnelly, Mendes, Jaimez-Ruiz.

Hi Imping

Thanks for coming on. I reckon the Imps will win 1-0 with Frecklington scoring the winner.
What does everyone else reckon?

I am also going for a 3-1 Imps win!

As nearly a year since our last mid-week 3-1 win away at Stockport, not a bad night that got in for a fiver and hot-dog and bovril was cheap as well at half-time!!

Let me the set the scene. We're in the middle of the 'main stand' just to the right of the halfway line.
Behind the goal to my right there is nothing apart from a green Portakabin and two big trees.
Opposite is a stand - a lower version of the Echo Stand - with red and blue seats.
And to my left is a covered terraced stand. The City fans have a third of that.
It's traditional to say the least.

Evening all.

I've got everything crossed for an Imps win tonight. We could do with moving up the table a bit and it might help preserve my sanity!

I like your optimism, but no away team has won at this ground yet this season.
Still, that's got to end at some point.

And out come the teams.

Evening Tasha, say hi to your Dad from me if you call him during the match, and ask to talk Dean and Jules to remind them to give me a half-time call? Please

Hi tasha

No snow yet. In fact it's warmer here than it is in Lincoln. I hope your old man doesn't prove to be a curse!

Aldershot get the game under way, kicking towards the 'Nothing' end.

And John-Lewis is playing through the middle. I was right - for once!

Good evening Solihull.

I'm with you on that, but the hosts have made the brighter start. Very early days though.

Two golden chances for the Imps.

First, Aaron Brown burst through. He was one on one with keeper Bull, who pulled off a fine save. Seconds later, Bull denied Kovacs, tipping his header over the bar.
