Tommy: Are you planning to add to your backroom staff?

John: What average attendance has been budgeted for this season? And at present how many season tickets have been sold?

Tommy : I read in the Echo a few weeks ago that David Galbriath was going to sign for Boston - is this likely to happen before the start of the season?

Can we realistically operate with only a sixteen man squad?
Do you consider that the squad you have assembled will compete for the title?

What are the rules regarding loan signings at this level? and if it is possible are there any plans to get anyone in on loan in the future - youngsters from league clubs for example to add to the promising squad being assembled.

Hi John and Tommy,

Can I ask you both who you think are the favourites for promotion in the Blue Square North this season? I think Kettering should be up there.

Hi and thanks to both of you for taking your time to do this webchat.

My question for Tommy is how long do you think it will take for Boston to get back into league football and do you think it is achievable now that the club has effectively had to start from scratch?

And John, do you think you have got any chance of a knighthood following your sterling work for Boston? If it was me, you'd get one no problem!

Arise Sir Johnathon of Blackwell!

Keep up the good work you two.

Hi John and Tommy: I've heard that the club is going to give the Town End to away fans this season. I feel this is a massive mistake. I could understand it being given to the likes of Huddersfiled and Lincoln but many clubs' fans in BSN will be arriving by taxi. I think more BUFC fans would attend matches if the Town End was the home end and it would give the players an advantage by generating more atmosphere, instead of conceding that advantage to the opposition. Can either of you do anything about this?

Hello Tommy and John, I'd like to ask John whether the the Football League have paid the large sum of sponsor money which they witheld last season, (apparently around £130000). If they haven't paid it will the club ever receive it, or do we have to wait until all the football creditors have been paid?

Firstly, as an Imp, I wish you both all the best for the coming season and congratulate John, in particular, for his great work over the years.

My question is have you considered talking to Lincoln about the possibility of taking a couple of their young players on loan?

Hi Tommy,

You played for West Ham in the 70s. Who were the best players you played with/against?

TT: No I am using the senior players to help me along on the war-up side of thins, we have got the physio and John does everything else. We are only part time at the moment.

JB: We have been sold 597 season tickets, which is excellentafter what has gone on in the summer. Regarding the gates we are not sure what gates we are going to get, it all depends on results and the away support.
I think we are going to have to wait a month to find out what is going to happen.

TTavid can sign anytime he likes. The only thing is at the moment, I can't see him playing 90 minutes of football because of the injury he has had.
Lee the physio onlyworks three day a week.

JB: During the summer he has had no treatment, so he has come back to us and it i up to us to get him fit.

TT: I only want a small squad of payers, I can get in 8 loans from league clubs, I am trying to get a squad together to win this league, but I don't want players sitting up in the stand, I want them all feeling part of the team.
I don't want to use the loans up at the moment, there are plenty of players out there. We need to fetch at least another three or four players in, but they will be the right players. It's no use just fetching anybody in.

JB: We have been having trials from the beginning. We have a youth set up which plays in the Football League Youth Alliance North Eastern Division.
We ffer trials all thetime and Steve Welsh is always looking for players under 18 and anyone interested can contact Steve through the club either by telephone or letter.
