With his views now known, how do you convince him that if things do not start well next season, your (majority shareholding) decisions will bring the promotion we want. |

Group: Member Posts: Joined: Tue Jun 12 2007 Status: Offline | Mr Wright, the stadium sits on a prime site in Lincoln which must be attractive for property development, especially if the Tentacroft Street cross city link gets the go ahead. What long term plans are there for the site, do the club plan to move? If the club are to stay at Sincil Bank would it not be a good idea to see if the land along South Park could be purchased to help the club develop the site? |

My question is simply this, why are we not competing with other clubs in the transfer market? We have yet to add a player to the staff. As a previous citizen of Norwich I watched as they added a number of players to the squad to get them into the premiership, which was a risk because of the high wages. However the gamble paid off and they have reaped the rewards, not least, a full house every season even in the Championship. Would be nice for us to take a similar, if slightly lesser, risk. |

Could you explain the rational behind removing the 'student' season ticket this year, and confirm yes/no if there will be a NUS card entry on match days or if that also will be full price? I have been requested to ask that particular question. Can you really see us being a force in league two in the coming season, given lack of movement in team stregthening to date. I understand there are targets identified and you cannot give names but are signings looking close and are they first choice targets for the two johns? |

I think these web chats are a fantastic idea. As a long-serving fan, I think what you and the board have done over the past five years has been absolutely oustanding and would like you to keep up the good work. However, time for my question. What have you done with that sumo suit? Personally I think it would be absolutley superb if you could do an all-blacks style haka before every home game. That would really intimidate our opponents! |

It's a double question: are there any new gems coming through and do you think any of them will be challenging for a place in the first team in the coming season? And how important do you think it is to invest in the infrastructure of the club, despite the fact that a lot of football fans are only interested in now and demand instant success. On a lighter note, have you ever seen Max & Paddy's - Road to nowhere? |

Thanks for taking the time - much appreciated, NCFCIMP Answer: Our management team are talking to a number of players and will make announcements as and when something materialises. They choose not to needlessly speculate in the media and I am quite comfortable with this approach. The management team will be judged on their performance over the coming season and not on their ability to create headlines during the close season. Steve Thompson was one of many managers we considered. However, we felt the best way forward for Lincoln City was to match the youth and enthusiasm of John Schofield with the more experienced John Deehan in a mentoring role. |
